Bounce Quality

When describing how our products work, we place special emphasis on the bounce cycle that a bellicon user experiences. This cycle begins at the highest point in the bounce, and concludes when downward travel into the mat stops. The effect of a bounce cycle is most enjoyable and beneficial when travel time from top to bottom is the same as bottom to top (sinus rythm). This even, constant motion is deeply relaxing and has numerous health benefits. The key to the bellicon’s bounce quality is its highly elastic bungee rings, which by the way, are available in different weight classes and easy to switch out. This enables you to tailor the bounce cycle to your specific exercise goals.

Material

Only highest quality materials are used in the bellicon. We pay special attention to functionality, durability, and environmental impact. The polypropolene mat was specially designed to hold up under outdoor conditions, including the effects of the sun’s UV rays. It can perform reliably for several years under normal use. Super sturdy mat hooks are made of non-toxic fiberglass-reinforced polymide that prevents the bungee sheaths from fraying.

Our bungee rings consist of natural rubber strands encased in non-toxic polypropolene and polyester sheaths. The rings can stretch to almost three times their original length. This degree of elasticity is essential for smooth up and down motion while bouncing. Otherwise the bungee rings would stretch to their limit causing abrupt deceleration. The material would quickly become overstretched and lose its elasticity. We are so confident in the quality of our trampolines that we guarantee bungee rings for 12 months, mats for three and frames for five years. (See terms and conditions for details.)
